It is a great privilege to welcome you to the SAMUN XV edition. We anticipate that your time here will be one of the most impactful and intellectually rewarding investments you make this academic year. Behind every successful debate and every drafted resolution lies months of meticulous planning. As your Under Secretary General of Finance, my goal has been to ensure that this conference operates on a fundamentally solid structure so you can focus entirely on your performance.

Throughout these days of collaboration, I encourage you to approach your committees with both passion and precision. The most effective solutions require calculated risks, solid data, and strategic negotiation. But logic only takes you so far. When a debate gridlocks and reaching a consensus seems impossible, that is the exact moment you must reject common sense to make the Impossible possible. Believe in your preparation, but more importantly, believe in yourself and your

delegation.

SAMUN XV is an opportunity to generate real value and build lasting partnerships. Maximize the resources provided to you and make every argument count. I encourage you to always push your resolutions beyond their limits and go Plus Ultra.
